Yes, where the work requires one. Panel upgrades, EV charger circuits, and rewiring are typically permitted and inspected. Most of the Valley is City of LA (LADBS and LADWP); Burbank permits through the City of Burbank and Burbank Water & Power. We handle the paperwork.

If you are adding an EV charger, AC, or a kitchen remodel, the panel often needs upsizing to carry the load. We check the capacity before we quote.

A Level 2 charger runs on a dedicated 240V circuit. We confirm your panel has the capacity (and upgrade it if it does not), run the circuit, install the charger hardwired or on a NEMA 14-50 outlet, pull the permit, and get it inspected. If you qualify for SCE Charge Ready, the rebate can offset the cost.
